Spencer Lofts, Brick and Beam Factory lofts that were converted in 2004/2005. 100 Chelsea lofts with the Spencer lofts Art Gallery. High ceilings, large windows, assigned parking and a common roof deck are some of the features of Spencer lofts. These lofts are affordable for rent or for sale.

Loft Rentals here range from $1,350 -$1,800 and lofts for sale here range from $199,000 -$330,000. We will not be able to see all of the lofts but if you are interested in the Spencer Lofts community private showings can be arranged for the sellers and tenants who like to schedule showings by appointment only.

When is someone going to finish the Forbes Lofts?

I see some activity over there again.

Any news would be great.

I would love to live, list and sell them all.

Are there any investors out there who are looking at it?

I sent it to a local semi-large developer last week and I hope they are considering it if it is available for sale?

I live an eighth of a mile from there and it would be ausome if I could walk to work everyday.

My windows @ The Spencer lofts look directly at the windmill that is @ The Forbes lofts.

Amalgamated Bank had the mortgage last time I checked.

I mean, who would not want to develop a waterfront loft building? If I had the cash I would.

This house is so beautiful I had to post a link to it. The only thing I do not like about it is the fred flinstone counters and the white appliances.  Very impressed with the photos, the music and the presentation.

If I get any $500,000+ listings I will probably consider using Fred Light.

I would love to live in a church. I love the archtecture and the statues.

I grew up in East Boston and I went to St Rose in Chelsea until 4th Grade. I moved away and I lived in East Boston for a year, but I lived on the South Shore for most of my years since. I moved back to Chelsea in 08′ and I live @ The Spencer Lofts. There are now 4 loft communities and 3 more are in the works. Spencer Lofts, Keen Studios, Industrie Lofts, Pearl Street lofts, Forbes lofts and Atlas Lofts. Forbes and Atlas are under construction now. Atlas is ready to come on-line next week! What I can tell you is that Chelsea is only 1.8 Square miles in diameter, which is the size of one of the 10 neighborhoods of Dorchester. It is 4 miles to Boston and yes it has the flavor of Latin America here, however professionals and artist are flocking here for the low prices, flourishing arts community and the diversity that Chelsea offers. Chelsea has Admiral’s Hill, The Broadway neighborhood, Soldier’s hill, Prattville and the new revitalized Box District. A person can by a huge loft with all of the creature comfort from $180,000 -$350,000 and they can lease a loft from $1,100 -$1,800. In Boston the same lofts go for $500,0000 -$2,000,000 and from $2,200 -$5,000. That is less than 4 miles away. Chelsea has shopping, hotels, chain restaurants, local restaurants and much more. If you think you know Chelsea and you have not see it with your own eyes then contact me and I will be glad to give you a tour of Chelsea. That is if you really want to know the truth and not a bunch of speculation.

Well this loft is under agreement and I am excited to have new neighbors moving to Spencer Lofts. Tom and Meredith are psyched and they can’t believe that they could find a loft as nice as this so close to Boston for such a great price. The owner Grant was also a happy camper when I was able to negotiate the whole lease up front in cash! I had several offers for rent and you know the proverbial saying. “Money talks and bullshit walks’ or like Tom Cruise said in “Jerry Maguire”. “Show me the money.” This is my sixth loft rented here at Spencer Lofts in the past 12 months. I showed 5 lofts for rent and it looks like I rented 2.

This Spencer Loft may be gone for the next 12 months, however I have more here to rent.

This new series will follow a group of friends/acquaintances/strangers who have collectively purchased (or are currently seeking to buy and renovate a property) which they will live in and own together.
